My recent stay at Shangri-La exceeded all my expectations, setting a new standard for exceptional hospitality. the technical aspects such as air conditioning and soundproofed rooms were flawlessly executed, ensuring a comfortable and peaceful environment. the ironing facilities in the room were a thoughtful touch, catering to travelers with specific needs like myself who appreciate well-pressed attire for filming expeditions. the provision of tea and coffee facilities in the room was a delightful convenience, allowing me to enjoy a soothing cup of Darjeeling tea while working on my documentary projects. the mini-bar was well-stocked with a variety of beverages, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring India's cultural marvels. the separate tub and shower in the luxurious bathroom provided a spa-like experience, complemented by the lavish array of free toiletries. the hotel's proximity to local dining establishments like Lord William Tea Lounge and Rajeev Restaurant offered a delightful opportunity to savor authentic Indian flavors. the staff's impeccable service and attention to detail truly made my stay memorable, especially with the surprise anniversary gestures that added a personal touch to the experience. Shangri-La has undoubtedly earned its place as my top choice for future stays, and I highly recommend it to fellow travelers seeking a blend of luxury, comfort, and authentic Indian hospitality.
